Description
of Position:
The Friendly Shopper helps isolated and/or disabled seniors with grocery shopping. Under the supervision of and with the support from the Helping Hands worker, the volunteer is expected to assist the seniors with weekly grocery shopping.

Qualifications:
|
|
- Possess skills in comparison shopping for limited budgets.
|
|
- Awareness of dietary needs.
|
|
- Considerable patience and compassion.
|
|
- Drive agency vehicle or provide own transportation.
|
|
- Provide a driver's abstract.
|
|
- Edmonton Police Security Clearance needs to be provided - at the time of the interview an application for the clearance will be provided, and there will be no charge for the check.
