Description
of Position:
The Drop-In Meal Server will help serve and clean up a meal in the McCauley Seniors Drop-In. Working with the Drop-In staff and senior volunteers, the meal server will butter buns, help make salad and prepare plates of food for up to 100 people. This is a good opportunity to interact with seniors as they come up for their meals. |

Qualifications:
|
|
- Volunteers need to empathize with the seniors and accept present lifestyles.
|
|
- Flexibility and stamina to work in a fast-paced, hectic environment as they serve meals to a lot of people.
|
|
- Basic food handling skills.
|
|
- Edmonton Police Security Clearance needs to be provided - at time of interview an application for the clearance will be provided, and there will be no charge for the check.
