Recreational Assistant

	Description of Position: The Recreational Assistant works with our Recreational Specialist in planning and implementing recreational programming for seniors in our Drop-In and at our different housing facilities, as well as for seniors living in the community. This could mean planning and facilitating programs such as out-trips to events in the city, planning special festivities for holidays and/or running weekly activities such as an exercise class.
	Qualifications:
	-  Creative and enthusiastic - a people motivator.
	-  Confidence and ability to plan and implement an activity.
	-  Knowledge of recreational opportunities in the city.
	-  Edmonton Police Security Clearance needs to be provided - at the time of the interview an application for the clearance will be provided, and there will be no charge for the check.
